Obama Inauguration Day 2013 Date, List of Activities, Events

The Date of the Second Inauguration Day or the 2013 Inaugural Speech of President Obama will take place on the 21 of January 2013.  The 2013 Inauguration Ceremony is the 150th anniversary Emancipation Proclamation and the placement of the Statue of Freedom atop the Capitol Dome in 1863.

The official theme for the 2013 inauguration is “Faith in America’s Future,”

Here’s the complete list of events or activities scheduled lined up for Obama Inauguration Day 2013.

Saturday, January 19, 2013  “National Day of Service.”

President Obama will ask Americans across the country to organize and participate in service projects in their communities to honor our shared values and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The President, Vice President and their families will participate in service projects in the Washington, DC area.

Sunday, January 20, 2013 - The President will participate in a small private swearing-in ceremony.

Monday, January 21, 2013 – Inauguration Day.
