4.0 Magnitude Earthquake Hit Quezon City, Metro Manila
Just few minutes ago at around 7:05 pm (Thursday, June 19, 2013) a magnitude-4 earthquake struck Quezon province and many cities in Metro Manila were also affected of the quake. No damages have been reported. But still the quake has caused people to panic. According to reports the quake lasted about 15 minutes.
The tectonic earthquake’s epicenter was located 40 kilometers east of Polilio Island, initial reports from state seismologists said.
The quake was felt in Quezon City as well as Makati, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Pasay, Pasig and Manila confirmed feeling the shocks. As well as in Rizal, Valenzuela and Pampanga.
